Public Awareness of Oral Health Continues to Rise

Liu Junxi, Vice President of Jingsong Dental Medical Group and General Manager of the Operations and Marketing Center

Hu Yunfan, Deputy General Manager of Rui’er Dental and General Manager of the North China Region, noted that young and middle-aged adults are increasingly seeking oral health knowledge and showing greater willingness to seek treatment. Notably, oral health has become a widely recognized priority in workplaces, organizations, and schools alike.

All Demographic Groups Should Develop Oral Hygiene Habits

“Middle-aged individuals play significant roles in both work and daily life, often leaving them with little energy to focus on their dental and overall health, which can lead to delayed detection of oral diseases,” said Baoshan. Middle-aged people are prone to issues such as gum recession, cavities, and tooth sensitivity. Therefore, it is important to prioritize brushing—especially at night—and to use dental floss and interdental brushes appropriately, as well as to undergo professional teeth cleaning at the right intervals.

Leveraging Individual Strengths to Provide Specialized Services

“Rui’er Dental has established a unified information system that connects clinics nationwide through data synchronization and enables rational scheduling across different locations,” said Hu Yunfan. Data from various cities is stored in the cloud, allowing doctors to assess patients’ conditions and needs based on recorded information; the company also places great emphasis on patient feedback.

Technological Advancements Boost the Quality of Dental Care

Bai Lian pointed out that with technological development and progress, equipment that was initially reliant on imports is gradually being replaced by domestically produced alternatives. Many domestic materials and devices are now highly precise and efficient—such as intraoral scanners, laser treatment devices, and dental microscopes—all of which can provide patients with an excellent treatment experience.

Brand Building Requires Effective Positioning and Communication

Taking Rui’er Dental as an example, Hu Yunfan explained that in the brand-building process, the first step is to establish a brand image and accurately identify the target customer base; second, to carry out activities that reinforce brand positioning, such as investing in public welfare initiatives; and third, to persistently engage in clinical, educational, and research work.

The Healthy and Sustainable Development of the Dental Industry Requires Collective Efforts

“Private dental institutions have evolved from a supplementary component of dental disease treatment to a vital part of the system,” Liu Junxi stated that he hopes to continue supporting private dental institutions to promote the industry’s healthy and sustainable development.

Yu Lei proposed recommendations in four areas: first, media education to raise public awareness of oral health; second, the training of medical professionals and the development of clinical departments; third, support for research and innovation in the field of dentistry, along with strengthened international exchange and cooperation; and fourth, the establishment of standardized, replicable diagnostic, treatment, and service processes to achieve sustainable development.
